First teaser of BTS' Suga and IU is here and she asks 'are you happy now'

A summer bop is on the way and we can't be more excited! Korean musician sensation Lee Ji-eun, professionally known as IU is set to collaborate with rapper-songwriter-producer Suga (Min Yoongi) of the biggest band in the world BTS. The singer has been sharing teasers of her upcoming single 'Eight' which will be in her comeback album featuring Suga and produced by him.

The first teaser is here as IU gives a glimpse of melancholic audio which leads up to the words, "So, are you happy now?" The moving teaser already sounds like a self-reflection of their lives and we can't wait to hear it!

Suga has collaborated with various artists. His solo work boasts of a variety of songs including 'Wine' with Suran, his first official collaboration with another artist. This led him to win Best Soul/R&B track of the year at the 2017 Melon Music Awards.

The 27-year-old musician has also worked with Korean legend Tablo of Epik High on 'Song Request' for South Korean singer Lee So-ra. He produced a track for Epik High's 'Sleepless' titled 'Eternal Sunshine'. He produced the digital single 'We Don't Talk Together' for singer Heize last year. The track was co-written by Suga, Heize along with El Captixn and Heize as co-composers.

In January 2020, Halsey and Suga collaborated on her album 'Manic' and released 'Suga's Interlude' which featured him and the track was produced by Suga.

Suga's collab with IU releases on May 6, 2020 worldwide.

Meanwhile, BTS is already working on a new album after their last release, 'Map Of The Soul: 7' in February, this year.

GOT7's Jackson Wang asks Joe Russo if there's a possibility of bringing Iron Man back

It's so exciting when two of your favourite worlds collide! Jackson Wang, rapper of K-pop group GOT7 and musician from China, recently had a very important question for Joe Russo, one of the directors of Avengers: Endgame. One year later after the film's release, Russo Brothers recently held a watch party and live-tweeted it. Joe also did a live stream where a bunch of people could ask him questions. During the live stream, a fellow fanboy Jackson Wang chose to ask the most important question and that is if there's a possibility of bringing Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) back!

For the unversed, the fans bid adieu to the character in the film and it broke the hearts of millions. "My favorite character is Ironman,” Jackson Wang told Russo during the audio call. “Is there a teeny tiny percentage chance that he might come back? Honestly, get him back, right now!”

"My brother and I are not involved with the Marvel universe anymore. We told our stories. As far as we are concerned, that's the end of the story. Now, you can go backwards, you could tell stories, there could be prequels and that's the type but he will not exist in the Marvel universe, as far as I know, moving forward."

"I think a lot of people wanna see him come back," Russo added.

Wang further asked, "I think there's a chance for the stories before that though! Don't tell me he's gone because I am very disappointed, very sad and depressed. But, we can always go back in time, right? There's still hope!"

BTS singer Jimin reveals about his role as music project manager in their upcoming self-produced album

It's only been two months since worldwide sensations BTS released their record-breaking album, 'Map Of The Soul: 7'. The highly awaited album dropped on February 21, 2020, which went on to become No. 1 in 21 countries. Without taking a break, the septet is already working on a new album that will be self-produced.

BTS members have always been in the making of their every album and again, this time they are diligently self-producing everything! On Friday, May 1, BTS member Jimin did a live session on Youtube where he spoke about the upcoming work and what roles everyone is going to doing behind the scenes. "Our album this time will be self-produced by us, so we picked PMs [project managers]. I became a music project manager. Suga gave his opinion very strongly. He told me, ‘I want you to become closer to music through this’ and strongly recommended [me for the role]. I was grateful for his opinion. I don’t know yet how exactly I will proceed, but I am working hard in order to be of help. As PM, what I can do now is ask the members how they want to work, what story they want to tell, how many songs they want to do, what style of song, what the composition will be, which members will be suitable for what, and communicate this to the label," he said (translated via Soompi).

The 25-year-old singer further said that he was very thankful to Suga for his suggestion as this will help him grow musically too. He has been enjoying his role as a music manager and reporting it to the company. He likes to organize member's words and opinions and ensuring it is communicated to the label.

BTS released their 20 track album with five music videos including 'Interlude: Shadow', 'Outro: Ego', 'Black Swan', 'ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film : Come Prima and 'On' official music video. Adding to that, their previous mini-album songs 'Boy With Luv' ft. Halsey and 'Intro: Persona' makes it seven music videos altogether.

They also have their Japanese album release in the coming months.

Gigi Hadid confirms her pregnancy on Jimmy Fallon's show, says she and Zayn Malik are very excited

Singer Zayn Malik and supermodel Gigi Hadid are expecting their first child together. The couple has been dating on-again/off-again for years now. But, they got back together reportedly at the end of December 2019 and their reunion was confirmed when they were first spotted together post-Gigi's mom Yolanda Hadid's birthday celebration back in January 2020. Now, the supermodel has confirmed that she is expecting the first child with Zayn.

“Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” Gigi said in a video interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 30, 2020. “Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day.”

Gigi also spoke about her 25th birthday celebrations at her mother's farm along with Bella Hadid and Zayn. Her family ensured her birthday was special and asked Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro to make her a cake in the shape of a bagel. “I don’t know if it was my hormones right now or just like quarantine emotional-ness, I cried every five minutes for an hour every time I thought about how Buddy made my cake,” she said.

Yolanda Hadid, her mother, also revealed that Gigi Hadid is due in September 2020.

Indian cinema bid farewell to Irrfan Khan, one of the finest talents ever seen in Indian cinema, on April 29, 2020, after a prolonged battle with neuroendocrine tumour. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for colon infection before he breathed his last on Wednesday. Tributes have been pouring in from all across the world including Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities who remembered him for his craft.

Renowed author Paulo Coelho paid a heartfelt tribute to Irrfan Khan by quoting Bhagavad Gita. “A star joins other stars in the sky. Thank you for everything, Irrfan Khan. ‘Death is as sure for that which is born, as birth is for that which is dead. Sutapa Sikdar, Irrfan’s wife, released an elaborate statement on Friday, May 1. In the statement, she said, “I see my little family, in a boat, with both my sons Babil and Ayaan, paddling it forward, with Irrfan guiding them “wahan nahi, yahan se modo” but since life is not cinema and there are no retakes, I sincerely wish my children sail this boat safely with their father’s guidance in mind and rockabye through the storm. I asked my children, if possible, they could sum up a lesson taught by their father that has been important to them.”

She further said, “Tears will flow as we will plant a raat ki rani tree, his favourite, to the place where you have put him to rest after a victorious journey. It takes time but it will bloom and the fragrance will spread and touch all the souls whom I won’t call them fans  but family for years to come.”

Some of his prolific work includes Salaam Bombay!, Maqbool, Paan Singh Tomar, The Lunchbox, Haider, Piku, The Namesake Talvar and Hindi Medium.

Abhishek Bachchan pens heartfelt tribute to Rishi Kapoor, says ‘some losses are too personal to discuss publicly’

Indian cinema lost another icon. A day after the passing of Irrfan Khan, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last after his long battle with Leukaemia on April 30, 2020 at the age of 67. The actor was survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor and two kids - Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. His funeral rites were performed by Ranbir Kapoor on Thursday afternoon in presence of Neetu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Randhir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and some close family members.

After the religious ceremonies were completed, Abhishek Bachchan took to social media to pen heartfelt tribute to the actor who was not just a co-star for him but like a father figure. He wrote on Instagram, “The true measure of a great man is... When upon his passing, you don’t just remember him, but you remember yourself with him! I will always remember how you made me feel, Chintu uncle. Your love, encouragement, humour and honesty. Some losses are too personal to discuss publicly. You just have to cherish the moments together and the memories. I will always...”

The scene is from the part where the actor was singing iconic Bobby track ‘Main Shayar Toh Nahi’ while playing the piano when his son played by Saif joins him.  Sharing the video on social media, Kareena posted a heart emoji.

Indian cinema lost another icon. Earlier this morning, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last after his long battle with Leukaemia. The actor was survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor and two kids - Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. His death news was first confirmed by Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter on April 30, 2020.

While the actor couldn't attend the last rites, Abhishek Bachchan was in attendance to support to the Kapoor family. Taking to his blog, Amitabh Bachchan recalled meeting Rishi Kapoor for the first time. "I had seen him at his home Deonar Cottage, Chembur, a young energetic, bubbly, mischief in his eyes Chintu, on those rare moments when I was privileged to have been invited to an evening at Raj ji’s house."

"I would see him more often after, at RK Studios, when he trained as an actor for his film to be made, BOBBY .. a diligent enthusiastic youngster, ready to pounce onto every learning that came his way, in that famous large and legendary make up room, of Raj ji at the end of the first floor corridor of make up rooms .. He had a walk that was confident and determined .. a stride and style that was similar to that of his grandfather, the legendary Prithvi Raj ji ..  a walk I had noticed  in one of his earlier films .. that walk .. I never found it in any other," he wrote.

Big B then spoke about working with Kapoor on several films and how he would make the set and scenes lively. "We worked in several films together. When he spoke his lines, you believed every word of it .. there was never an alternative .. its genuineness was beyond question. And there has never been any other, that could lip-sync a song as perfectly as he would .. never His playful attitude on set was infectious .. even in the most grave sequences he would discover that comedic spark and we would all just crack up  .. !!" he said.

"No just on set .. if you were with him at any formal event, he would find that little distractive light-hearted gem to expand on and lighten the situation .. When there was a time-lapse as the shot got readied during a shoot, he would bring out his playing cards, or at times pull out his rather complicated Bagatelle board and invite others to play .. a competition .. not just for fun .. a serious competition," he added.

He further talked about his diagnosis and even in those times, he stayed positive. "During his time of diagnosis and his treatment he never ever lamented his condition .. it was always .. ‘see you soon , just a routine visit to the Hospital .. I’ll be back shortly. Joie de vivre .. the exuberant enjoyment of life , was a gene he inherited from his father .. the Legend, the Ultimate Showman the Iconic Raj Kapoor," he wrote.

"I never visited him in Hospital .. I never wanted to see distress on his smiling cherubic face. But I am certain .. when he went , he must have gone with a gentle smile," he signed off.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor worked in films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Coolie, Kabhie Kabhie, Ajooba, Chala Murari Hero Banne, Dosti Dushmani and Mehrunisa. Their last work together was in 2018's 102 Not Out.

Arjun Kapoor calls out violation of privacy in cryptic note after videos of Rishi Kapoor from hospital go viral

Indian cinema lost another icon in Rishi Kapoor who passed away on Thursday after his prolonged battle with Leukaemia. The actor was 67 and was survived by wife Neetu Singh and kids Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. But, yesterday, many of his videos from the hospital and his last rites went viral on social media.

Actor Arjun Kapoor took to his social media to call out those who violated the privacy of the late actor and his family. In a cryptic note, it seemed like his message was directed towards those who posted videos of the veteran actor from the hospital bed.

Taking to Instagram stories, he wrote, “The choice to not post something is sometimes as important as to be the first to post something. Images have a lot of power lest we forget. Sometimes humanity, empathy must prevail over being first to embrace the use of sly voyeuristic material presented to you. Just sometimes.”

Arjun Kapoor worked with Rishi Kapoor in Aurangzeb (2013) shared a note yesterday talking about his experience and that Rishi had told Boney Kapoor that he need not worry since Arjun was a good actor. "Thank you for the memories from RK house to Raj Krishna to Ridhima's sangeet rehearsals to Aurangzeb to having spent a beautiful evening with you & Neetu Aunty in New York. You shall live in my heart & mind forever," Arjun wrote.

Rishi Kapoor was in New York for almost a year for his treatment after Mulk had released. He returned to India last year in September and was looking forward to returning to the movies. His last film was The Body starring Emraan Hashmi.

Ramesh Sippy says one did not need to direct Rishi Kapoor

Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy's association with the Kapoor family goes way back. He made his directorial debut with the film Andaz in 1971 with Shammi Kapoor in the lead. In 1981 he made Shaan with Shashi Kapoor. Babita Kapoor was introduced by Ramesh Sippy's father in the film Raaz in 1967. Ramesh Sippy then made Saagar in 1985 with Rishi Kapoor. 

Not only does Ramesh Sippy have a professional relationship with the Kapoor family but he is also related to them. The filmmaker's daughter married Shashi Kapoor's son Kunal. 

While talking to a tabloid after the demise of Rishi Kapoor, Sippy said that he was in touch with the actor but not as much. He said that he had spoken to Rishi when he was seeking treatment in the US and everything seemed positive. The filmmaker was shocked to hear about the demise. He further said that because of the pandemic situation, he could not pay his last respects and feels miserable about it. 

Talking about working with Rishi Kapoor, Sippy said that one did not need to direct him as he was a consummate actor. He said that once the scene is narrated he understood them well and had to just get ready and perform. Sippy said that he never needed to tell Rishi about what to do and what not to do.

When Ranbir Kapoor revealed the two precious gifts his father Rishi Kapoor gave him

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor is no more. Industry members, his family and fans are all mourning the loss of this legendary actor. In 2017, Rishi Kapoor launched his memoir titled Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored. True to the title of the book, the actor spoke his heart out without sugar-coating words. 

The book featured an emotional foreword written by his son and actor Ranbir Kapoor. “As I sit down to analyse my relationship with my father, I would say that the most precious gift he has given my sister Riddhima and me is that we can love our mother unconditionally. He showed us by example that she was at the centre of all our lives and our home. With her as our bedrock, none of the ups and downs in our lives could really touch us,” he wrote in the foreword.

“The second gift is that he has been a good husband to my mother,” Ranbir wrote. While Rishi Kapoor had his fair share of fights with Neetu Kapoor, he truly loved her and their children. This was evident in his last days. Neetu Kapoor stood by a rock and shouldered all responsibilities as Rishi Kapoor was being treated in New York. She stood by him till his last breath.

Rishi Kapoor’s co-stars Satish Kaushik and Farida Jalal express grief

Actors Satish Kaushik and Farida Jalal not only worked with late actor Rishi Kapoor but also knew the actor personally. Filmmaker-actor Kaushik, who has worked with Kapoor in films like Tehzeeb, Saagar, Aa Ab Laut Chalen and Wedding Pullav, says the late star made acting look like the easiest profession.

While speaking to a news agency, Satish said that Chintu ji was a much loved young icon of romance. Satish Kaushik kept on seeing him after coming to Mumbai and then later worked with him as a co-star and was directed by him in Aa Ab Laut Chalen. Satish was shooting with Rishi Kapoor for his last film Sharmaji Namkeen. He said that with Rishi Kapoor gone the era of romance has gone.

Meanwhile, Farida Jalal broke down while talking about Rishi Kapoor. She said that she was very close to the actor and was shocked. Farida Jalal worked with Rishi Kapoor in the latter's debut film Bobby.

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, early morning after a long battle with leukaemia. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. The actor is survived by wife Neetu Kapoor and children- Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor.

Aruna Irani remembers co-star Rishi Kapoor; narrates an old incident where he stood up like a hero

Rishi Kapoor passed away early morning on April 30, 2020, leaving the film fraternity and his fans gutted. The actor who was battling leukaemia passed away in a hospital in Mumbai. After his death, several industry members spoke about his greatness and their memories with him.

Bollywood actress Aruna Irani who has worked with Rishi Kapoor in the 70s and 80s in films like Khel Khel Mein and Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani while talking to a news agency said that he was good to each and every person. She said that they would call him Chintu baba.

Remembering the days during Rishi Kapoor's film Bobby, Aruna said that his father Raj Kapoor would scold him but he would never feel bad. She said that he never felt conscious and if his father would say something to him, he would say it is for his best.

Talking about her working experience with him Aruna Irani narrated an old incident. She said that once they went to a remote place to shoot and there were a lot of mosquitoes making sleep difficult. They expressed their concern to Rishi Kapoor and asked him to say something as he was the hero. Rishi Kapoor spoke to the producer and said that it was not possible to work in the morning like this and asked to shift the location and the producer did exactly the same.

Aruna Irani said that they were in touch through WhatsApp and she would enquire about his health. She stopped asking once he returned to India and started working as she thought that he was doing well.

“I warned Rishi Kapoor about his health”, says best friend Rakesh Roshan

Rishi Kapoor and Rakesh Roshan were close friends for 45 years. Rakesh is understandably shaken by the suddenness of his pal’s death. “I met him last on March 15 over dinner. Only Chintu (Rishi), his wife Neetu and I were there, and we chatted for nearly three hours. We discussed each other’s health.”

Rakesh Roshan himself has come out of a cancer phase. “I am a hundred percent cured, touchwood. Chintu asked me why I didn’t start a new film. I told him I will wait until September when my final medical tests will happen. I would rather wait until I’m fully sure. Health comes first. And this is what I told Chintu also.” In fact Rakesh Roshan blames Rishi Kapoor’s trip to Delhi in February for his health relapse. “Both of had cancer, though different kinds. I am aware of how infection-prone we are. So when Chintu told me about his plans to go to Delhi in February for a wedding I advised him against it. But he still went, and had a relapse there. When I met Chintu he admitted he should’ve listened to me and that he made a mistake by going to Delhi.”

Rakesh reveals how admitting his mistakes came easily to Rishi. “He was short-tempered and impulsive and often regretted what he said. We both have our good and bad points and our friendship lasted so long because we accepted each other with our faults. We had no ego issues between us. Chintu would regret what he said or did and then apologize the next day. I was also quick to say sorry to him when I erred. That’s why we remained so close.”

Looking back on their unique friendship Rakesh Roshan says, “We first met when we worked together in the musical Khel Khel Mein. We hit it off instantly .We had so much in common. That’s when our professional and personal association began. No matter how busy we got we would meet 3-4 times a week. A friendship requires commitment and time to last.”

Rakesh remembers many vacations of the two families together. “We went on many holidays together Chintu, Neetu, Ranbir, me, my wife Pinky, Duggu (son Hrithik Roshan) and Susanne. Those times will never return. But the memories will remain with me. I find it hard to believe that Chintu is gone.I feel he is still with me that he will call any moment. Sadly I couldn’t attend his last rites because of my own health condition.”

Fully cured of cancer Rakesh Roshan is taking no chances. “I eat well, sleep well and exercise daily. I hope to start my new film after September.”

VIDEO: Inside Rishi Kapoor's funeral; Ranbir Kapoor performs the last rites

Indian cinema lost another icon today. Early morning on April 30, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last after his long battle with Leukemia. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and returned to India in September last year after being treated for cancer in New York. His death was confirmed by his colleague and close friend Amitabh Bachchan on Thursday.

Rishi Kapoor's body was taken directly to the crematorium ground close to the hospital. Owing to the lockdown restrictions in place, the Mumbai Police allowed 16 members of the family to attend the funeral.

Ranbir Kapoor performed the last rites of his father Rishi Kapoor at the Chandanwadi crematorium ground. Due to lockdown restriction in place, Rishi Kapoor's body was directly taken to the crematorium ground instead of going to their Pali Hill residence first. Rishi Kapoor's elder daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni could not attend the funeral as she was in Delhi.

Meanwhile, seen at the funeral were Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Armaan Jain, Abhishek Bachchan and Ayan Mukerji.
