Tamil actor Vijay's film Master would have released on April 9 if it were not for the pandemic. Owing to coronavirus and the lockdown, the release date has been pushed indefinitely. However, fans who are eagerly anticipating the film have been enjoying the music of the film. The songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander are getting a great response. The song 'Vaathi Coming' is one of the most popular songs from the album. The hook step of the song has indeed got people hooked to it.

The 'Vaathi Coming' song fever is not restricted for just fans of Thalapathy. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty recently made a video on TikTok where she can be seen dancing to the song 'Vaathi Coming'. Shilpa Shetty has been spending her lockdown time on social media by sharing workout videos, dance and other awareness videos. With her dance on Thalapathy's song, she has managed to impress several fans. She dedicated the dance to the actor, saying, "This is for you #thalapathyvijay."

Hrithik Roshan 'overwhelmed' to find a throwback photo from the sets of his 2000 film Fiza

Hrithik Roshan marked his debut in Bollywood with father Rakesh Roshan's Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai, and rose to fame almost overnight. His next outing was Khalid Mohammed's crime thriller Fiza. It's been 20 years since then. The film is now streaming on a a leading OTT platform, and the director dug out a precious throwback photo from the sets. It has him and Hrithik posing for the camera.

"PIYA HAJI ALI.. was first day of shoot with HRITHIK ROSHAN as AMAAN in FIZA, now streaming on NETFLIX. Do have a look," Mohammed wrote. This took Hrithik down the memory lane, and he was 'overwhelmed' to come across the photo. "Wow . Overwhelmed looking at this . KNPH hadn’t released. Thanks for treating me so kindly on set," he quickly wrote, retweeting the photo.

Hrithik, meanwhile, is spending the lock-down with sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan and ex-wife Sussanne Khan who has moved in to his house to co-parent the children. He is believed to begin working on the fourth edition of the Krrish franchise soon.

EXCLUSIVE: When Divya Bharti's mother revealed she was a bad student and joined films to avoid studies

27 years ago, in April 1993, actor Divya Bharti's accidental death left the film industry shocked. One of the most popular and highest paid actresses of her time, Divya had done a commendable amount of work in a rather short span, and tied the knot with producer Sajid Nadiadwala a year before her untimely death.

We looked back at the time Divya's father Om Prakash Bharti and mother Meeta Bharti sat for a heart-to-heart conversation with Bollywood Hungama, and it has priceless memorabilia. It was from this interaction that we learned that Divya was happy to mingle with lesser privileged children and help them in whatever way she could. She would, in fact, keep taking them to a market in suburban Mumbai near Sajid Nadiadwala's office to buy them what they needed. "She would take the children to the market, and would buy them stuff. She never carried any money with her. So she would ask the shopkeeper to take the money from Sajid," her father recalled.

Her mother also revealed how Divya was never drawn towards the glamour world, and had no ambitions of becoming a rich and successful actor either. All she wanted was to get rid of her academics, and become a housewife in future. That's how films happened to her.

"She was getting offers. There was a producer in the building next to ours. His manager would come to our house every day, and sit for hours. He pleaded Divya to sign a film with them, and promised that all the work would be complete in three months. So, one day she asked me, 'Mom, if I sign films, what will happen to my studies'? I told her, 'You will need to stop studying if you decide to pursue films'. She was zero in studies. She would barely score anything. She said, 'I don't need to study anymore? Then please tell dad that I want to work in films," revealed Divya's mother. Divya's father allowed her to sign a film, and from there on, she never looked back.

Within 1990 and 1993, Divya appeared in over 20 films and stepped into Bollywood with Sunny Deol's thriller Vishwatma in 1992. The track 'Saat Samundar Paar' from the film yet remains an iconic one, and was used by Sajid Nadiadwala in his directorial debut Kick.

13 Years Of Ta Ra Rum Pum: “I remember being really, really happy on the sets of Ta Ra Rum Pum”, says Rani Mukerji

Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan starrer Ta Ra Rum Pum stood out as a sports-drama that was set in the backdrop of car racing in the USA with Saif playing a racing prodigy. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film had a lavish shooting schedule in the United States and Rani has some very fond memories of shooting this project.

“Ta Ra Rum Pum was a very, very lovely shooting experience for me because we shot in America, in New York, for nearly 3 months. I was there for 3 months at a stretch and it was lovely living in New York around that time shooting the film. We had two little angels - Ali and Angelina (who played the roles of Priya and Ranveer – Saif and Rani’s on-screen kids) and I was single at that point of time but to actually play a mother of these 2 children really got my motherly instincts out,” says Rani.

The talented actress adds, “Today, when I look back and watch the film when I have Adira with me, it just feels so amazing. When Ta Ra Rum Pum released, I had a lot of children and parents really watching the film with a lot of love. I still get a lot of people telling me that they watched Ta Ra Rum Pum and it’s one of their favourite films because it has car racing and it has the story about the children.”

Rani feels the film’s universal theme of family coming together to overcome all odds is what connected with the audiences. “It’s a very nice warm lovely story and I think I connected with the film and the story a lot at that time. It was a very sweet story about this couple who has children and how they fight the odds. I think crisis like these brings families closer and I think that’s a very special part of the story,” she says.

Rani thoroughly enjoyed the animation in the film which was hailed as a cut above as far Bollywood standard back then was. “Of course, it had the animation song ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’ with the teddy bears which is one of my favourites songs. I think they had done a lovely job and the animation was one of my first animation songs which I did!” the actress adds.

Rani had a blast acting with Saif, with whom she also delivered the blockbuster Hum Tum, and her co-stars in the film. “Of course, having Saif with me as a co-actor was wonderful! Also, Victor Banerjee played my father in the film and it was wonderful having him on set and to be working with him. It was overall a great experience and I remember being really, really happy on the sets of Ta Ra Rum Pum!” she says.

Sebastian Stan reveals why Steve Rogers did not pass on Captain America title to Bucky in Avengers: Endgame

A year ago, Avengers: Endgame released in theatres worldwide. The Marvel movie shattered several box office records beating the record set by James Cameron's The Avatar. As Chris Evans and Robert Downey. Jr bid adieu to their beloved characters Captain America and Iron Man, some characters are getting their own projects through the phase 4 films or Disney+ shows. Speaking of which, Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky Barnes in the franchise, will star in the series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sebastian Stan shed some light on why Steve Rogers did not pass on the Captain America title to Bucky in Avengers: Endgame. “Steve is saying to Bucky… ‘I’m not going to put this thing on you. We’re both going to live our lives – the lives that were actually taken from us back in the ’40s when we enlisted’”, the actor explained.

“That’s where I felt they were at the end of the movie [Avengers: Endgame]. I don’t think there’s a desire or any conflicted thoughts about taking on that mantle. Sam, to me, was always the clear man to take on that mantle for numerous reasons, which also comes with so much more baggage that’s going to be explored in the show,” he added. “…at the end of Endgame, for either Steve or Bucky, it’s really not about the shield.”

Amid lockdown and coronavirus pandemic, it seems like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will premiere next year!

BTS members Suga, Jin and Jimin turn it up on 'Happy', 'Havana', 'Con Calma', 'Rasputin' and it will make you get up and just dance!

Do you need any boost this hectic Monday? BTS is here for you.  It was only recently when BTS decided to reschedule their stadium tour amid the global pandemic. But, that hasn't stopped them as they are already working on a new album! They are continuing with their work schedules and also ensuring they interact with BTS Army more during this time! The septet has been interacting with fans via, live sessions on VLive or Youtube, Twitter with the hashtag #BTS_OF_THE_DAY, or their app Weverse.

Keeping their promise, some members Jin, Suga, and Jimin did a live session again but this time they kick-started their Monday with full-fledged dancing! Kanika, who returned to Lucknow from London in the second week of March, tested positive for Coronavirus around a week later. She was accused of having escaped the mandatory screening at the airport, and allegedly also hosted a party at a five star hotel in Lucknow. It was only yesterday that she broke her silence on all allegations floating around, and issued a statement. "I travelled from UK to Mumbai on March 10 and was duly screened at the international airport. I travelled to Lucknow the following day on March 11 to see my family. There was no screening set up for domestic flights. On March 14 and 15 I attended a friend's lunch and dinner. There was no party hosted by me and I was in absolute normal health. I had symptoms on March 17 and 18 so I requested to be tested," part of her statement read.

She took to Instagram to share her work of art with us, and explained how it was a reflection of the present crisis. "Finally done my lockdown piece of art. Has taken 40days to complete. It’s called “broken glass” sort of like our lives at the moment. Everything might feel shattered, but every piece is meant to be next to each other to be made whole again. "Akshay Kumar inspired me" says lyricist Manoj Muntashir speaking about his song 'Teri Mitti' getting a corona twist

Manoj Muntashir’s fabulous poetry of patriotism for the song Teri Mitti in the Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari has now been converted into a song celebrating the bravery of the doctors across India fighting the Corona virus. Explaining this trans-creation Manoj says to me in an exclusive chat, “Soldiers are not only those who fight at the border. Whenever our country is in a state of crisis the common people of the country should show uncommon solidarity and behave like soldiers. Come what may they should not leave their battlefront. Hum apne morche pe danttey rahenge.”

Manoj who has in the past penned beautiful songs for films such as Akira, MS Dhoni, Naam Shabana and Baby says the country is fighting an invisible enemy. “And we see the soldier’s character in many essential professions, be it doctors, the sanitizers, the police officers or the small grocers who are determined to keep their shops open…all of these have become soldiers now.”

Speaking on how the song happened, Manoj says, “One day I got a call from Akshay Sir (Kumar) about turning the Kesari song on patriotism to a tribute to doctors fighting the Coronavirus. He just kept repeating, ‘They are Gods. We can’t repay the debt we owe them but at least we can acknowledge their contribution.’ I thought that was a great idea. I asked Akshay sir to give me two days. But as soon as we disconnected the phone call and I went out for a walk, all the lyrics for the song came to me and I handed them over to Akshay Sir. He even commented, ‘Tu toh do din baad dene wala ttha.’

Manoj says it’s the beauty of the original composition that inspired him. “The beauty of the original composition by Arko and the singing by B Praak is such that I was inspired. Let me tell you, this was the simplest song to write. I just had to hold the emotions in my hand, and the song wrote itself out. When I saw the sacrifices of the doctors, how they have been away from home for weeks and now months combating the virus, how they haven’t picked up their children in their arms for ages for fear of infecting them…these are heart-melting incidents.”

Manoj feels we can never repay the medical profession for their sacrifices. “No, this song is not even trying to repay them for their sacrifices. Nothing in the world can repay them. We don’t have the currency to pay them back. But in this song we’ve shown our love and gratitude for the soldiers in white: Beemar hai jo kis dharm ka hai humse na kabhi yeh bhed hua/ sarhad pe jo vardi khaki tthi ab usska rang safed hua. We just hope the doctors will embrace our song just as the soldiers at the border had embraced the original song.”

As we complete almost four weeks of lockdown what are your thoughts?
It's making me think I should change my profession.

Why, and do what?!
Either to become a cook or get into the food business, or get into army or a gun shooting business or into the car or bike racing scene.

Okay then. So how have you been spending your time during the lockdown?
I've caught up on my pending sleep for the last two years.. shut off my brain for the first time in ten years. But it has turned back on since the last few days.

So what is your brain telling you to do now?
I am doing some cooking, I’m constantly hungry. I work out so I can eat. I am catching up on some OTT shows.

Your thoughts for your fans during these trying times?
It's a strange time. I wish I could be there for each one of them.. make sure all have the basic necessities.

What do you feel about the pandemic?
Many generations have braved and fought many things. Some saw and survived the British rule, others dealt with the Partition, they dealt with poverty, epidemics and wars. Our generation’s battle is this, and we have to protect ourselves and our families by not letting the virus get to us, and the way to do it is to stay home. And soon, this too shall pass.

Anything else?
Anything else I say will become serious. I don't want to burden our people who already are dealing with so much. So consciously trying to tell you the lighter side of my lockdown. We are bombarded everywhere by the troubles accompanying the lockdown. I just want them to smile. And know that I am also locked down with them. We have to smile through this.

Kumbalangi Nights, loved it. Trivia- I make a guest appearance in it.

Are marriages in Bollywood crumbling during the lockdown?

With one couple announcing their separation and another denying a rift amidst loud whispers of differences, Bollywood marriages, like marriages all across the world, are going through trying times during the claustrophobia of the global lockdown.

Actor Gulshan Devaiah has separated from his foreigner wife Kallirroi Tziafeta. When I asked him about it Gulshan confirmed the end of his marriage adding, “Thank you for asking. We are both all right.”

However musician Hiten Soni denied rumours of problems in his marriage with singer Sunidhi Chauhan. When I asked he said, “These rumours are baseless. I don’t know where they are coming from.”

While one wishes Hiten and Sunidhi all the best, disturbing rumours of other marriages in Bollywood being in trouble are gaining momentum.

Is it just a temporary fallout of the constant presence of one another in a locked house? A high-profile celebrity husband says staying together constantly is becoming a problem. “No matter how much one loves one’s spouse one needs time and space for oneself. Luckily we have a large home. What about couples who are locked in one-room and two-room flats?”

This celebrity spouse has a point. Marriages are under strain due to the lack of breathing space for couples. Once the lockdown ends, so will the strain of constant togetherness.

Taapsee Pannu shares the fond memory of moving into her new apartment for the first time

Taapsee Pannu has made quite a name for herself over the years and has been proving her worth with every project. Being an outsider, the journey was surely difficult but Taapsee is now considered as one of the most coveted actresses. During the lockdown, Taapsee has been missing the sets and has shared multiple images from her previous projects. She also recently shared a picture from when she first entered her apartment in Mumbai after she returned from the shoot of Manmarziyaan.

She posted a picture of herself posing at the front door with the caption, “This is the day I had my apartment in Mumbai ready, with all interior work done. It was strange that when I left for the shoot of Manmarziyaan I left from the old apartment I had taken on rent when I first moved to Mumbai n by the time I finished shooting the film n came back I entered the new apartment. Like a new chapter began just like that. It was a very seamless transition for me but it went through its share of teething issues which were all sorted by my sister n mom before I entered home. Made me realise no matter how much effort you put in, the house stays a house until it’s lived in with your family who then make it ‘Home’. That’s the blue door that I wanted for my home n keeping the ambition flying high I always wanted a logo instead of a name plate outside my house. Seeing it all come together for the first time was definitely a defining moment in a girl’s life who wanted to create her own space which she can look at everytime she sets an ambitious goal and feel ‘it’s possible’”

Taapsee Pannu is quite a travel-freak at heart. Right now, there's no way she can take a trip, but she is doing a good job recalling her old trips and the fond memories attached to them. On Instagram, she shared a throwback photo from her trip to Rome.

"One of those trips I just decided to take very impulsively. Rome. Was in my list since long time. I love seeing places which should either have beach, crystal blue water n good restaurants or should have a lot of history to know n study about and have a lot of good restaurants. Basically good restaurants is the basic common key here," she wrote.

True. Good local food is so important, you see. She also added how she took help of local apps to find places to explore. And while we can't make our long-awaited trips right now, she suggests we sit and make a list of all the places we want to visit. "I think it will be some till I experience the thrill of travelling again. But until then, we can make a list of all places in the world we want to see coz life is too short and we all have witnessed that it’s quite possible that things won’t be the same tomorrow," she added.
